FAQ

Below you will find an overview of frequently asked questions and our contact form in case your question is not listed.

As soon as you know your dates, or you may place an option. Our regular glamping guests often book at the end of the season for the following year. Last-minute bookings are also possible—please inquire, as there may be options that need to be checked or cancellations that may occur.

Unfortunately, the location is not suitable for this. Due to its historic setting (more than 100 years old) on rocky terrain, accessibility is limited. The meadow with the tents is uneven with small slopes and a few steps. The restaurant can be reached from the parking area via a slightly sloping path of 25 meters followed by two stone staircases. Guests can, however, be dropped off by car in front of the restaurant steps.

Always in consultation and to be mentioned when making a reservation. Pets are welcome on the glamping as long as they do not cause any disturbance to other guests and remain on a leash. The adjacent forest is home to a lot of wildlife, and on the property chickens may roam and cats may wander by.

In the restaurant, only a smaller dog is allowed if it remains calmly on a leash under the table, and this must be mentioned when making the reservation. The restaurant is too small for larger dogs, and some guests may also be afraid of dogs.

The restaurant is small but can be heard from the terrace during opening hours by guests staying at the glamping. In the summer high season, the restaurant is also open four evenings a week for dinner to guests from outside the domaine, with occasional exceptions.

The chambre d’hôte room is quietly located on the other side of the house, although during and around dinner time the chef may be cooking and working near the terrace of the room and the door next to it.

The car is safely parked on private property and can only be reached via a small country road from the main road. It is possible to load and unload close to the tent and the chambre d’hôte room upon arrival and departure.

A charger for an electric car is available for charging during the night; it is not a fast charger. A fast electric charging point is available in the village.

Check-in is between 15:00 and 19:00, and check-out is before 11:00. There are no fixed check-in or check-out days. The chambre d’hôte room can be booked per day, and the glamping tents have a minimum stay of two nights.

If you arrive earlier or later, please let us know so we can take this into account and, if possible, ensure that the accommodation is ready earlier or store your luggage if needed.

Access with a camper or caravan is not possible, and the parking area is not suitable for them. If there is a small camper or caravan on the property, it belongs to the owners or their family. In the village of Saint-Jean-de-Côle, about 1 km away, there is a parking area for campers. From there you can walk via the walking and cycling path “Voie Verte.”

When renting one of our tents, it is possible to place your own small tent as well, subject to consultation and availability.

We do not have credit card facilities and do not accept debit cards, credit cards, or holiday vouchers.

Payment options are: French cheque, cash, bank transfer in advance, or direct bank transfer by phone.

Open (camp)fires are strictly prohibited. Although forest or field fires are rare in this area, people remain extremely cautious. BBQs at the tents are not allowed due to fire risk. BBQing is possible on the shared terrace next to the swimming pool, where cooking and BBQ facilities are available.

The swimming pool and sun terrace are not accessible to pets, and small children may only use the pool when accompanied and supervised by their parents. Diving is not allowed.

The spacious sanitary building is reserved per tent and may therefore only be used simultaneously by guests staying in the same tent. Bringing and using heavier electrical equipment such as a portable heater or air conditioner is only possible in consultation and with permission due to the capacity of the electricity network.
